SPRINGDALE - Arnold Black, 95, of Springdale died December 15, 1998, in Springdale. He was born November 18, 1903, in McCool, Miss., to George T. and Mattie Hunt Black. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and enjoyed fishing, gardening and collecting knives. He attended school in Texas. He was proceeded in death by one daughter, two brothers, one sister.
Survivors include his wife Lealah Woodard Black of the home, to whom he was married Oct. 28, 1933; one daughter, Kattie Arter of Springdale, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
