Funeral services will be conducted for Freida Williams, 86 of Shreveport, LA on Wednesday, January 2, at 10:30 a.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Marty Wright of Pinecroft Baptist Church where Mrs. Williams was a member. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park. The visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.
She entered into rest on Saturday 12/29/2007 at her residence after a sudden illness. Mrs. Williams lived in Shreveport for most of her life. She retired from Summer Grove Elementary School as the school secretary. She was very active at her church helping out with various ministries. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Williams and daughter Donna Simoneaux.
She is survived by daughters Nancy Clark and husband Ron of Marshall, TX and Patricia Flenniken of Houston, TX; sister Jacquelyn Blakeney of Madisonville, TX; grandchildren Angie Simoneaux, Danny Simoneaux, Rob Trickett, Mycha Schmitt, Amber Lowery, Mark Flenniken; eleven great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
