John A. Leberman, pioneer citizen of Young County died in a fire which destroyed the home of his son, W.C. Leberman, one mile south of Olney, Texas.
John A. Leberman, 80, moved to Young County in 1885, settling on the place where he died. He raised stocker cattle for 20 years, then his boys grew to manhood and took over the active management of his affairs.
Survived by five sons - John A. Leberman, Jr.; H.L. Leberman, W.C. Leberman, George Leberman and C.D. Leberman; one daughter - Mrs. W.F. Keathley.
