Wanda Jane Wise Sykes, 32 died February 21, 1989 at her residence. She was an employee of Shaw Manufacting Co., a lifelong resident of Okolona and was a member of the Okolona Church of Christ.
Services were held February 22 at the Okolona Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Lawson officiating. Burial was in the Oddfellows Cemetery.
Survivors include her parents, Louie and Jeanette Wise of Okolona; one son, Kirby Sykes of Okolona; one sister, Patsy Thomas of Okolona;one brother, Robert Wise of Okolona; her paternal grandmother, Marie Wise of Okolona.
