MRS. BEABOUT'S FUNERAL HELD
Rites Held for 97-Year-Old Woman Who Died at County Infirmary.
Funeral services were to be held at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon at the Flanigan, Reed and Hull funeral home for Mrs. Alice Beabout, 97, one of the oldest residents of the county, who died Saturday at the Bartholomew county infirmary. She had been ill for eight weeks.
Mrs. Beabout was born and spent all of her life here. Her husband preceded her in death in 1906.
Surviving are a son and four daughters, Frank Beabout, Mrs. John Elkins, Mrs. John Sanford, Mrs. John Hartwell and Mrs. Letha Hayden, all of Columbus, and three half-brothers, Linton, Dave and Warren Wilcox.
The Rev. Ira Verbryck was to conduct the funeral services, with burial taking place at Garland Brook.
