Larry, a longtime resident of Vidor, passed away at the VA Hospital in Houston.
He was retired and was a captain with the Orange County Sheriffs investigation division. He was a Vidor Police Officer and served his country in the US Army during the Viet-Nam conflict. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn Franklin, son Jon Franklin, Jason Franklin, daughter Cindy Marion, Marti Franklin, Amy Franklin, Holly Montondon, Crystal Gerage, Heather Franklin, Jennefer Franklin, brother Larkin Franklin, sisters Mavy Palmer, Jane Hanks, Joan Hatch and thirteen grandchildren.
