He was born March 13, 1913 in Broadridge, Robeson County, NC. He was the son of the late Oscar Anderson and Bessie Mayes Anderson.
He was the husband of Leona Barber Anderson.
He was survived by his two sons, Thomas A Anderson (Buddy) of Beaufort, SC and Walter Hugey Anderson (Doug) of Panama City, Florida; one daughter, Mrs. Nell Lee of Dillon, SC; one sister, Mrs. Lucille Rowland of Lumberton, NC; 10 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were at 3 PM on Sunday, Nov. 16, 1991, conducted by Biggs Funeral Home.
