Allie M. "Buddy" Street
Allie M. "Buddy" Street, 73, of Urania, died Monday, December 12, 2005 at
the St. Francis North Hospital in Monroe.
He was a retired truck driver and was born January 9, 1932 at Delhi to the
union of Allie M. and Myrtle McKinney Street.
Services were held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, at Standard Baptist
Church near Olla with Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Interment followed
in the Urania Cemetery under direction og Riser Funeral Home of Olla.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Mark John Street; and
brothers, Monroe Street and William Street.
Survivors include his wife Rennie Plaisance Street of Urania; his children,
Garland Street, Allie Street, III., and Linda Thornhill, all of Urania;
Clinton Street and Keith Street, both of Columbia, Michael Street of Grayson,
and Marshall Street of Olla; two sisters, JoAnn Albritton of Olla and Joy
Thompson of Urania; 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Derrick Street, Phillip Street, Marcus Thornhill, Martha
Street, Jonathan Street, Teddy Mayes, Clinton Street, and Sal Gasper.
