Graveside services for Myrtle Jane McFadden, 95, were held April 22 in Palo Verde Cemetery conducted by Rev. Gerald Hoemann. She died on April 18, 1987 at Palo Verde Hospital. Mrs. McFadden was born on December 4, 1891 in Thayer, Kansas. She married William P. McFadden in 1908 and the couple farmed in northwestern Oklahoma before moving to Oregon in 1943. They moved to Blythe in 1969 where Mr. McFadden died in 1972. She leaves her sons, William D. McFadden of Blythe and C. D. McFadden of Oregon; daughter, Billie Ducy of Cottonwood; fifteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
