20 September 1960: Victor L. Brown, 63, of 33 S. Locust St., Campbelltown, died Monday at midnight in the Hershey Hospital. He suffered a heart attack earlier in the evening at his home and was admitted to the hospital at eight p.m. A native of Snyder, Lebanon County, he was a son of the late Harry F. and Anna (Templin) Brown. He was a time-keeper for the Hershey Chocolate Corporation. He was a member of the Men's Bible Class of Salem United Church of Christ, Campbelltown, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Lodge 335 of Annville, and the Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Company. He is survived by his wife, Verna (Eckert) Brown; one daughter, Elva, wife of Clarence S. Nye, Hummelstown RD 1; on son, Victor E., Campbelltown; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mary Snavely, University Station, Enid, Okla., and two brothers, Harry C. and Raymond R., both of Palmyra.
