Born November 28, 1931 in Decatur County, he was the son of Wesley and Jessie (Crawley) Glenn, both deceased. He married Patricia A. Hornaday May 28, 1955; she survives.

Mr. Glenn lived in Rush County most of his life. He was employed at Schnadig Corp. for 20 years and had also worked for D.O. Corn & Son Construction. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Voice for Christ Church and the Rushville VFW.

Survivors in addition to his wife include sons, John R. (Patty) Glenn, Mark A. (Yvonne) Glenn and Greg S. (Tawnya) Glenn, all of Rushville; sisters Iva Mae Scott of Brownsburg and Laura Ellen Ketchum of Rushville; five grandchildren; six step grandchildren; one great-grandson; and three step great-grandchildren

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Lawrence, and a half sister.

Services were at 10:00 AM on Saturday May 17, 2008 at Moster Mortuary in Rushville with Dr. Dean Lunsford officiating. Burial followed in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery.

Memorials were made to the Decatur County Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
