Professional Hockey Player. A native of Galt, Ontario, Canada, he played at the center and left wing positions for ten seasons (1935 to 1945) in the National Hockey League with the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens. He was a member of two Stanley Cup championship teams (1938-1939 Bruins and 1943-1944 Canadiens). He appeared in 393 career regular season games, scoring 136 goals and was selected to the 1939 NHL All Star Game. He died from cancer.
