Doris A. "Peg" Cole, daughter of Bert and Edith Colvin, born January 19, 1931, passed away at her home June 14, with her children at her side. She graduated from Altmar High School in 1948. She was employed by and retired from General Electric in 1965. She married the late George A. Cole Sr. on January 21, 1949. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Pulaski Puritan Chapter #159, since 1972 and was also a 36-year member of the Silver Crest Rebekah Lodge #229 in Mexico. Doris was predeceased by her husband, George A., in 2005 and by two daughters, Kathy A. Cole Paye and Sandra A. Cole Blaise, both in 2004. Survivors include two sons, George A. Cole Jr. and Larry A. Cole, both of Pulaski; four daughters, Laurie A. Hunter of Pulaski, Doreen A. Brewer of North Carolina, Darlene A. Scarborough of Parish and Charlene A. Moon of Virginia; 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Joint memorial services for George A. and Doris A. Cole will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Dugway United Methodist Church in Dugway. Calling hours at Harter Funeral Home, 2983 W. Main Street, Parish, will be Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. Joint burial will be Thursday in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Dugway. Contributions may be made to Dugway United Methodist Church or the O.E.S. #159, Pulaski, NY.
