Eva Jewel Lamm was the 3rd of 5 children born to James Harvey Williams and Willie Ollie Lamm. Eva had two brothers and two sisters: Ida Mae, Joe Willie, Elbert Harvey "Jack", and Lola Ruth Lamm.

Eva was a school teacher. Her first teaching position was at Hext in Beckham County Oklahoma prior to reciving a degree. Teaching certificates were given with the completion of so many hours of work toward a degree. This was prior to the birth of her first child, Billie Jean. After her divorce from Gene, Eva returned to school at Southwestern in Weatherford. She rented a large house and kept college girls (baby sitters) and attended school in the daytime and worked at the "Blue Bird Cafe" nights. When she earned her bachelor's degree she took a teaching job at Canute Schools. Returning to Weatherford in the summer months to work for Bob Cates at his cafe. School teachers were paid very little and only 9 months a year. After Canute, Eva taught in south Jackson County at a consolidated school called "Harmony". Later Eva moved to Geary and completed her years of teaching in the Geary School System,retiring in 1973. At some time she had returned to Southwestern and completed her Master's degree.

The first school assignment for Eva was a math and history teacher as well as a girls basketball coach. She took her children with her to all the ball games. Some times they slept in the seats of the school bus. After her confinement to a nursing care facility in 1977 she received many letters from students that she had not seen since their graduation fron high school in the late 1930s. The second school was a country school combined grades Eva taught mainly Junior High Math, in the beginning she taught a few high school classes as well.

Eva married(1) Eugene Emory Hart(Oct. 30, 1908-Oct. 21, 1975) on the 4th of July 1926 in Forgan, Beaver County, Oklahoma. They had two daughters: Billie Jean(1927-1986) and Patti Lou(1930-2006) Hart. Eva divorced Eugene Hart on the 21st of May 1935 in Custer County, Oklahoma.

Eva Married(2) Royal F. "Roy" Chase(May 31, 1902-Dec. 27, 1980) on the 14th of Aug. 1948 in Dequeen, Sevier County,
Arkansas.
