Professional Football Player. After graduating from Boston College, he was drafted in the fourth round of the 1987 NFL draft by the New Orleans Saints. At 6 foot 5 and 290 pounds, he was an offensive guard with the Saints for six years from 1987 to 1992. He was inducted in the Boston College Hall of Fame in 2001. Stephen Paul Trapilo owned and operated a number of health and fitness clubs after his playing days ended. He died of a heart attack.
