Mr. Anderson was born to the late Albert and Alice Anderson. He was a World War II veteran and spent the last 25 years acting in the Recovering Community helping many people with alcohol problems. He was preceded in death by the mother of his 10 children, Nona D. Anderson; daughters, Kay Anderson and Ann A. Anderson; and one son, Timothy A. Anderson. Left to cherish his memories are one sister, Ruby A. Jackson, one brother, Harold E. Anderson, both of Rocky Mount, NC; three daughters, Frances Peele and husband James, Alice Boyce and Dee Ezzell, all of Morehead City; four sons, A.W. (Pete) Anderson and wife Veda, James Anderson and wife Sally, Randy Anderson and wife Sonya, Albert (J.R.) Anderson and friend, Judy, all of Rocky Mount, NC; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Anderson of Wilmington, NC, died at the age of 75.
