Graveside services will be conducted at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery for Catherine Poston, age 80, of Shreveport, LA on Thursday, January 3, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Msgr. Murray Clayton of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church where Mrs. Poston was a member. Visitation will be at Centuries Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Poston entered into rest on Sunday, December 30, 2001 at Willis-Knighton Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of Shreveport.
Mrs. Poston was preceded in death by her loving husband, Doyle Clifford Poston and a daughter, Barbara Lillian Poston.
She is survived by two sons, John William Poston and wife, Delores of Booneville, AR, and Robert D. Poston and wife, Dawn of San Antonio, TX; one sister, Peggy Freeman and husband, Dale of Plainfield, IN; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two nephews and a host of friends.
The family would like to thank Willis-Knighton Medical Center and Progressive Care Nursing Home for their love and attention.
