He served his country proudly for 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force he held several positions at Western Forge where he retired as a Supervisor in Shipping and Receiving.
Delbert leaves to cherish in memory his loving wife of 32 years Sara, his children; Sue Ann Licht, Janet (Sharline) (Ray) Arellano, Wilma (Daniel) Mota, Brenda Aldava (Darwin Jones), Theresa Aragon, Tim (Marla) Jennings, Liza Aldaz, and Lucia (Frederick) Kelly, 27 grandchildren, 40 great grand-children, his brother Lester Licht and his faithful canine companion Nick.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Walter and Olga, brother; Al Licht, sister; Dorothy Johnson, aunts; Mata, Loualla, and Chickie and nephew Larry Hill Jr.
Visitation was Monday, June 9, 2008, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Service were Tuesday, June 10, 2008 10:00 a.m. Both will be at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel 3825 Airport Road.
