MIXNER-Albert B. Mixner, 95, of Lincoln passed away March 2, 2007. He was born September 27, 1911 in Palatine, N.J. to Melvin and Frances Mixner. After graduating from Bridgeton High School he worked at Kosters Nursery. He married Marie Noss and had one daughter Marjorie. After leaving the nursery he worked at Seabrook Farms, later moving to California where he worked in frozen foods until his retirement. He then became maintenance supervisor at Whittier First Family Church for many years. He was active in church and loved God with all his heart. He enjoyed traveling, gardening. Survivors include his wife, Marie of Lincoln, Neb.; daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie and Paul Thompson of Raymond, Neb.; grandchildren and spouses Daniel and Annette Thompson of Lincoln, Neb., Rebekah and Jerry Franck of Denton, Neb., Melody Peterson of Lincoln, Neb., Joyce and Brian Ubben of Ceresco, Neb.; 14 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren; brothers, John Mixner of Hendersonville, N.C., Ben Mixner of Denver, Colo. Predeceased in death by parents; two sisters; grandson-in-law, Kurt Peterson; great grandsons, Joseph Peterson and Joshua Ubben. Funeral Service 11:30, Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Crossroads Church, 4401 N. 40th. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service at church. Interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park. Memorials to Crossroads Church.
