MUNCIE- ROY R DAVIS, 84 Muncie, died Tuesday in Liberty Villiage Nursing Home after a long illness. Mr Davis moved to Muncie in 1940. He was a farmer, and an Orchard Apple Worker for many years. He worked at American Lawnmower before retiring in 1978. He had been a member of Memorial Drive Wesleyan Church since 1950, and was an avid fisherman and hunter. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Anna Evans Davis, a son Michael Davis, and 2 daughters Connie Fitzgerald and Karen Batt ( husband Joseph), 2 sisters Stella Williams and Bonnie Marcum, 7 grandchildern, 3 step grandchildern, and 7 step-great-grandchildern. 7 brothers and 2 sisters are deceased. Serivices will be at 10:00 am Saturday in Wesleyan Church. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory. Calling will be 4-8pm Friday at Parson Mortuary and an hour before services Saturday at the church.
