"Aged Lady Died--Mrs. Rhoda Tucker died at the home of her son in South Salem on Sunday night, aged 79 years and 3 months. Deceased was born in New York state, and came to Oregon several years ago. The funeral services will be held at the Leslie M.E. church Tuesday afternoon, and will be conducted by Rev. Royal and the interment will be made in Lee Mission cemetery.
Deceased leaves eight children, as follows: E.E. Tucker and Palmer Tucker, of Salem; Mary Wilson and T.L. Tucker of Blair, Nebraska; Harriet Preston and Harry Tucker, of John Day, Oregon; Stephen Tucker, of Seattle, and Ella Bently, of Myrtle Creek, Oregon."
