Larry Mac Wright, 70, died Monday, June 25, 2007, at a local hospital.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road in Hurst. Burial: Bear Creek Cemetery in Euless. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials: Tarrant County Humane Society, in lieu of flowers.
He was born in Leonard on Sept. 25, 1936. He was a longtime resident of Richland Hills and was a loving husband, father, son, son-in-law, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved his companion, Sweeny. He was a avid hunter and outdoorsman, but was never happier than when he was with his family. He loved the Lord.
He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Mamie Wright, and a sister, Gwen Rogers.
Survivors: Wife, Margaret Ann; sons, Larry Mac "Skip" Wright Jr. and wife, Karla, and W. Scott Wright and wife, Liz; daughter, Sherry Louanne Lesinski and husband, John; brother, James Wright; sisters, Martha Brantley, Elaine Watson and Frieda Jo Barrett; grandchildren, Nick, Krystle, Joshua, Alyssa, Colton, Sydney, Cody and Krystin; and great-grandchild, Hunter.
He leaves many other family members and friends behind.
