Sports Broadcaster. Known for his rich voice, he was a longtime play-by-play man for ABC's American Football League broadcasts and NBC's American and National Football League telecasts from the 1960s into the 1990s. He called Olympic events, Wimbledon, college football games and baseball games for the Cincinnati Reds and Colorado Rockies. He also contributed to segments for "ABC's Wide World of Sports". He died from a heart attack.
