Beverly Jean Olson, 78, of South Beloit, Illinois, died Friday, March 21, 2008 in Beloit memorial Hospital. She was born January 11, 1930, in South Beloit, Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Winifred (Calkins) Mickey. She married Ingwall Nelson, he died in March, 1963. She later married Earl Roy Olson in Beloit, Wisconsin, on August 29, 1964.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Olson of South Beloit, Il; four sons, Dave (Pam) Nelson of Beloit, WI; Tom (Bonnie) Nelson of Janesville, WI; Michael (Lola) Nelson of Beloit, WI; and Mark (Carol) Nelson of Beloit, WI; six grandchildren; one sister, Marelene Udell of South Beloit, IL; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preseceased by her first husband and her parents.
Funeral services were held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Hansen-Gravitt Funeral Home, 424 Prospect St., with Rev. Gary Beeman officiating. Burial followed in Rockton Cemetery, Rockton, IL
