She was born March 2, 1908, to Archibald and Mary (Tussing) Sooter, at Spokane. She lived in Whatcom County until 1980, when she moved to Carlton.
She married Willard Ramsey on Dec. 5, 1989, at Bellingham. He died Sept. 9, 1994.
Mrs. Ramsey was survived by three sons, Keith Knight of Carlton, Kenneth Knight of Benton City, and Carl Knight of Seattle; a daughter, Starr Knight of Carlton; two stepsons, Richard Ramsey of Yakima, and William Ramsey of Seattle; two stepdaughters, Glenna of Tonasket, and Janet of Carlton; 52 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
