Daughter of James and Katie (Blevins) Roysden. On April 6, 1946 in Muncie, Ind. she married Earl W. Gossett and in 1952 they moved to Cadillac. He ¨ preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 2003.
Martha had been employed at KickaWay Garment Company, BF Goodrich, Cadillac Girl Coat and Four Winns. She attended the Salvation Army Church in Cadillac and enjoyed sewing and quilting while watching movies and also enjoyed reading, but most of all she loved being with grandchildren and was known as Grandma Mart. She also loved to go sightseeing and for long rides through the woods and taking walks with her grandchildren. For the past several years she has loved going with her sister and nieces to Inspiration Park in Bryson City, N.C. where they would ¨ attend Gospel Music ¨ concerts.
