W. F. WOODS DIES IN HICKMAN MILLS TODAY
William F. Woods, 81, well-known dairyman and farmer of the Miner community, died early this morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. E. P. Baumann in Hickman Mills, near Kansas City. He had been in ill health the past few years.

Mr. Woods was a native of Princeton, Missouri, having been born there May 20, 1875. He and his family came to Scott county in 1919 and for a few years lived in the vicinity of Morley. He later established the Woods Dairy near Miner and continued in personal charge until ill health made his retirement necessary. He had long been a member of the Baptist Church and took an active interest in all civic and religious efforts.

Survivors include four sons and three daughters, who are: Sires and Floyd of Miner, and Stanley Woods of Sikeston; Fred Woods of Louisiana, Missouri, Mrs. Baumann of Kansas City and Mrs. Ronald E. Cobb and Mrs. Loren E. Merry of Riverdale, North Dakota; two brothers, Orlie Woods of Princeton, Missouri, and J. Lee Woods of Los Angeles, California, and a sister, Mrs. Gertie Deshler of Phoenix, Arizona ten grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Woods died in 1941.

Mr. Woods' body is being brought today to the Welsh Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

PLAN SERVICES SUNDAY FOR WILLIAM F. WOODS
Funeral services for William F. Woods will be held at the First Baptist Church, Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock, and will be conducted by the pastor, the Rev. E. D. Owen. Interment, with Welsh service, will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Until time for the funeral services, the body will be in state at the Welsh Funeral Home on Gladys street.

Mr. Woods died early Thursday morning at the home of a daughter in Hickman Mills, near Kansas City.
