WALNUT COVE, NC ~ Mrs. Rachel Margaret Christian Hart, 86, formerly of Francisco, passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, at Walnut Ridge Assisted Living Center, Walnut Cove.
She was born April 24, 1915, in Stokes County to Fred Arthur and Annie George Christian.
Mrs. Hart was a homemaker and a member of Francisco Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a nephew, Bob Fred Christian and wife Betty Mae of Rural Hall; and a niece, Mary Ann Harris and husband James of Georgetown, S.C.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at Francisco Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. Rickey Rogers.
Mrs. Hart is at Cox-Needham Funeral Home in Pilot Mountain and will be taken to Francisco Presbyterian Church at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, where she will remain until time of the service. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at the church.
