Naomi Faye Allen, 69, of Woodward died on July 20, 1997 at her home. Funeral services were held today at Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Melvin Rittenhouse officiating. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery with Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. She was born on August 30, 1927 in Freedom, the daughter of Orvin Leo and Lola Myrtle (Pancoast) McAlister. She graduated from Freedom High School with the Class of 1946 and Northwestern State College with the Class of 1950. On August 6, 1950, she married Leland M. Allen in Alva. She was a retired school teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orvin Leo McAlister and Lola Myrtle Young; her sister, Betty Lorraine McAlister; and her brother, Billy Eugene McAlister. She is survived by her husband, Leland; her daughters, Nancy Leann Baker of Alice, Texas and Susan Whitehead of Friendswood, Texas; and four grandchildren.
