WILLIAMS, MS. STACY D., age 32, of Talladega, AL, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2007. A native of Talladega and lived in Lincoln. She graduated from Talladega High School in 1993 and attended Gadsden Community College School of Nursing where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and graduated with a Degree in Licensed Practical Nursing in 2006. Stacy lived her life as a gentle spirit whose love for family and friends was evident to all who knew her. She was an active member of God's House of Prayer at Lincoln. Her favorite Verse was II Corinthians Chapter 4 Verses 8 & 9: "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down, but not destroyed.
Survivors include: loving parents, Terry and Cindy Williams of Talladega; grandmothers, Louise Mitchell of Talladega, Inez Williams of Weaver; aunts, Carolyn Williams and husband, Jeff of Talladega, Tricia Howell and husband, Mike of Hoover, Denise Chandler of Coldwater, Margaret Daily of Weaver; uncles, David Williams of Anniston, Allen Williams of Anniston, Rayborn Williams of Anniston, Norman Williams of Anniston; best friends, Heather and Daniel Curry of Pell City; nephews, Colby and Ralee Curry.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Dennis Mitchell and Allen Williams. Graveside Rites will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Oak Hill Cemetery. Dr. Terry Greer and Rev. Johnny Jones officiating.
Pallbearers: Matt Chappell, Adam Wood, Jeremy Hurst, Jamie Johnson, Jim Mitchell and Zach Mitchell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alabama Organ Center. Usrey Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
