Myrtle Milla Farver, daughter of Lafayette and Susan Farver, was born Sept. 3, 1880 in Delaware County, Ohio, and passed away April 17, 1961 in the Blue Valley Lutheran Home at Hebron at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 14 days.
When a small child, she, with her parents, brothers and sisters moved to the vicinity of Nelson, where she grew to womanhood.
On Sept. 27, 1905, she was united in marriage to Alva McMichael. To this union three children were born, two of whom died in infancy.
The first year of their marriage was spent in Frontier County, Nebraska. In the fall of that year they returned to Nuckolls County, locating on the farm northwest of Nelson which was their home until the death of Mr. McMichael in 1947. She then made her home with her daughter, Alma Youngs of the Nora community, until November, 1960. Since that time she has been a patient at the Hebron home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and three brothers.
She leaves to mourn her departure her daughter, Mrs. Alma Youngs, one sister, Mrs. Izetta Adrian of Sheldon, Wisc., two brothers, Allen Farver of Nelson and Elmer Farver of Winterset, Ia., and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at two o'clock this (Thursday) aftenoon in the Klawitter Chapel, with the Rev. Mr. Lincoln Justice officiating. Interment was in the Nelson cemetery (sic).
