He was a 50-year member of the Delaware Masonic Lodge, Kansas City, Kan., and a member of the Basehor United Methodist Church.
Survivors in addition to his son include his wife, Mrs. Ruby Knight Scheller, of the home; a brother, Walter Scheller, Tonganoxie; three sisters, Mrs. Etta Oelschlaeger, Bonner Springs, Mrs. Clara Norris, Leavenworth, and Mrs. Ruth Yates, Lawrence; two grandsons; and four great-granddaughters.
