She was born in Hedemora, Malby parish, Sept 5, 1839 where she also spent her childhood days. There too, she matured into woman hood and in 1867 married Anders Anderson. To them, prior to their immigration to America, were born two children, who are at present Mrs. Gust Peterson and Mrs. Wm Challberg.
In May 1873 the family immigrated from the old country to America, coming directly to this community where they have ever since resided. In 1875 she joined the Swedish Lutheran church at Center City to which congregation she always remained true and loyal until the end, always taking a great and deep interest in the work of the church.
During the last nine years she has lived with her daughter and son-in-law and Mr. and Mrs. Wm Challberg on the old home farm, in fact, here she has lived since she came to this country.
Mrs. Anderson is spoken of as a woman who was a devout Christian, patient and ever solicitous about the welfare of those that she held near and dear. Her suffering was at time of intense character, but she bore it all with Christian fortitude.
She leaves to survive her, a husband and two daughters, six grandchildren, besides a large number of relatives and friends. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon from the residence, Rev Eckman officiating and interment will be held at Center City Cemetery.
May this good wife and tender mother rest in that everlasting bliss, which justly is her beautiful reward.
