REVEREND BOBBY LEE BRADLEY, JR., 46, died Saturday, June 9, 2007 in Lakeland, FL. at Lakeland Memorial Regional Hospital- He was born in Valdosta, GA. and attended Volusia County Public Schools. He was a graduate of Seabreeze High School, 1979, Bethune-Cookman College now Bethune Cookman University, Daytona Beach, FL. Gammon Theological Seminary, (ITC) Atlanta, GA. Reverend Bradley was the pastor of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, Gainesville, FL. He had previously served as pastor of St. Johns United Meth. Church Crescent City, FL. Trinity United Meth. Church St. Augustine, FL. Kerr Memorial United Meth. Church, Perrine, FL.

Rev. Bradley was an associate trustee of Bethune Cookman University, member of the alumni assoc. He served on several committees in the North Central District of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors Include: His loving and devoted wife; Betty T. Bradley, Gainesville FL., four daughters Leanna M. Bradley, Brishaun L. Bradley, LaMiya B. Bradley, all of Daytona Beach, FL. Nikka (Reginald) Lester, Miami, FL. One son Donnie, (Katrice) Jackson, Miami, FL., Parents, James and Clara Nelson, Daytona Beach, FL. Bobby L. Bradley, Sr. Massillion, OH. Two sisters Seletha Bradley, Rochester, NY., Mary D. Bradley, Daytona Beach, FL., and four grandchildren.

A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for the life of Rev. Bobby Bradley will be held on Friday. June 15, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Rev. David G. Latimore Host Pastor, Rev Dr. Geraldine W. McClellan, officiating Rev. Dr. Kevin James, Eulogist. Final Services for Rev Bradley will be held on Sat June 16, 2007 at 11:00AM Gertrude Hotchkiss Hines Memorial Chapel 640 Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd. Daytona Beach FL. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the care of Chestnut Funeral Home, 18 N.W. 8th Ave Gainesville, FL. Visitation for Rev. Bradley will be on Thurs. at Mt. Pleasant United Meth. Church from 2:30 - 8:OOPM and on Friday at the Mt. Carmel Church one hour before the service. There will be no viewing after the eulogy. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to Wachovia Bank for Rev. Bobby Bradley daughters education. The cortege will form at the home of Rev. Bradley, 7801 S.W. 99th Lane at 10:00AM.
