HILL SERVICES SET MONDAY

Roy Hill, 62, Broken Bow, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2002, at his residence. He was born Sept. 28, 1939, the son of Roy W. Hill and Evaleen V. Lyons Hill Salie.

He served and retired from the U.S. Army. He was a former Broken Bow Police Officer and a retired State Park Ranger. He loved playing golf and fishing, and enjoyed playing music with the Main Street Pickers. He was affiliated with the Assembly of God and was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy W. Hill and Evaleen Hill Salie; and one sister, Elizabeth "Liz" Cain.

Roy leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Delores Hill, of the home; two sons, Tommy Hill, Lyons, Ore., and Ronald Jones, Hugo; two daughters, Tammie Hill Campbell, Lyons, Ore., and Tammy Hider, Spencerville, Okla.; six brothers, Buford Hill, Broken Bow, Leon Hill, Chapel, Creek, Texas Arnold Hill, McCade, Texas, Marvin Hill, Broken Bow, Travis Hill, Mesa, Ariz., and Robert Hill, Broken Bow; three sisters, Emma Jones of Georgia, Linda Hall, Clovis, N.M., and Sharon Braddy, Valliant; five grandchildren, Chris and Cody Campbell, Lyons, Ore., Daniel and Joni Hider, Spencerville, and Tyler Hill, Lyons, Ore.; and numerous family friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2002, at the Assembly of God, Broken Bow. Bro. Tom Fitch and Dr. Doug Deramus will officiate. Interment will follow in Hochatown Cemetery, Hochatown Community.
