The Rev. Jesse Ziegler was one of the founders of Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania and served as Presidnt of the Board of Trustees from 1900 until his death in 1918. He began preaching at the Mingo Church of the Brethren in May of 1889 and was ordained Elder in 1900, and continuing as Elder until 1918.
