FORT McCOY -- Melvin C. Davis, 73, a retired carpenter, died March 21, 1993, at home.
A native of Andes, N.Y., Mr. Davis moved to Fort McCoy 10 years ago from Schenectady County, N.Y. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force and served in World War II. He was a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association; and the Salt Springs Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Inscription: Military marker reads: "SSC US Navy World War II" Larger stone reads: "Sealed for time and eternity" Married May 24, 1941"
Melvin was the son of Laura Faulk (# 2583 in the Faulk Book) & William Thomas Davis.
