James C Boss Jr was the son of James Curtis Boss Sr and Mary Will Maroney and was known as JC.

He was married to Geraldine Moore about 1940 most likely in Lamar Co, Tx. They were divorced at the time of her death according to his death certificate (actually before 1954).

J.C. Boss Jr. of 903-3rd SE died Saturday, 13 Jun 1981 at his home. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, 16 Jun at the Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glynn Vickers officiating. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, Okla. Mr. Boss was born 13 Apr 1920 in Bells, the son of the late J.C. Boss and the former Mary Maroney. He was a self-employed carpenter. Survivors include two sons, Doug Boss and Bobby Don Boss, both of Paris; two daughters, Mrs. Ann Green and Mrs. Linda Kennedy both of Paris; two sisters, Mrs. Cooper Steele and Mrs. Lorene McFadden, both of Paris; several nieces and nephews; and four grand children. He was preceded in death by one son, Curtis Boss, in November, 1967. Pallbearers were Bud Ingram, Archie Slaton, Cecil Anderson, R.L. Harendt, Dave Martin and L.R. Randolph.
