Mrs. Sweeton Dies at Her Home.
Mrs. Lenna E. Sweeton, 32 years old, wife of D. S. Sweeton, died shortly after 5 o'clock Saturday afternoon at her home, one and a half miles west of Baxter Springs. She has been in failing health the last year from consumption. Mrs. Sweeton was born on Tennessee Prairie, three miles south of Galena. Four years ago the family moved west of Baxter Springs.
She is survived by her husband, two brothers and three sisters. Mrs. M. Rhodes of Lawrence, Kas.; Mrs. A. Baysinger, Mrs. E. Bindermen, William Archer, S. B. Archer of Galena. Mrs. Sweeton was a member of the Knights and Ladies and the Woodmen Circle. The funeral was held from the home of the family on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and interment was made in the Baxter Springs cemetery.
