Services for Doris Jewel Matchett, 55, Huntington, mother of a Lufkin resident, were held Saturday May 17 2007 at Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home chapel, Huntington, with the Rev. R.G. "Bud" Davis officiating.
She was born Oct. 21, 1951, in Lufkin to the late Lawrence and Roy Louise Coulter. She lived in Huntington most of her life and was a mail carrier for the Postal Service and a Pentecostal.
Survivors include her husband, Lynnwood Matchett, Huntington; daughter, Kristie Stone, Lufkin; son, Jason Matchett, Huntington; brother, Edmond Coulter, Huntington; sisters, Lenda Woltz and Annie Mathews, both of Huntington, June Hoyt and Ann Leath, both of Lufkin; two grandsons; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
