David J. Riker, 70, formerly of Columbia City, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Wabash County Hospital where he had been taken following a seizure. He had been a resident of Pathfinders Group Home, Wabash since 1989.
He was born November 5, 1942 in Columbia City, Indiana a son of the late Rubim B. and Marie Elizabeth (Jones) Riker. At a young age, he suffered from cerebral palsy. There are no surviving relatives.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City with visitation from 12:00 noon until 2:00 prior to the service. Burial will be in the Eberhard cemetery.
