Virginia Colene Tate is the daughter of Millage Houston and Velma Marie Bowen.
She is the wife of George C. Tate. Together they had three children, Georgie Ann Tate, Calvin Brent Tate and Angela Dawn (Tate) Baier and husband Brad.
Colene was employed by Bear Brand Hosiery for 18 years. She was the owner and operator of Colene's Beauty Salons in Rogers and Bentonville, Ar. for 31 years.
She was a memer of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale, AR.
Survivors include her husband and three children, all of Rogers, AR.
Also surviving are three brothers, W. Alton Bowen of Farmington, AR., Leonard H. Bowen and Jimmy D. Bowen both of Springdale, AR., four sisters, Mary Juanita Madewell, Ina Mae Ross, Wanda Lee Smith and LInda Louise Fitzner, all of Springdale, AR.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Firday at Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers, AR.
Services will be at 11 am Saturday at Calvery Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale with Clark Snow and Arthru Lee Galloway officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, AR.
Pallbearers will be Brad Baier, Buddy Old, Mark Hite, Bill Smith, Vernon Fredrickson and Darrell Ross.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Jonathan McNally, Christopher and Cameron Tate.
