Came to the US in 1872 from England with his parents and settled on a small farm in Cleveland Township in Le Sueur County near St. Peter. Arthur's father Jacob built a square-log cabin for the family outside of town which still existed in 1998 and is owned by the Baker dairy farm. Arthur married Alice Plouffe Finnegan and they both lived there until his death.
Services held at Catholic Church, Cleveland MN, Sat. May 5th, 10:00 am.
