Born Nov. 28, 1943, in Streator, she was the daughter of Louis and Lois Schroeder Amell. She married Ronald "Corky" Marshall on Nov. 17, 1962. He survives.
She is survived by a two sons, Ronnie Marshall. Minonk, and Todd Marshall, Virginia Beach; and one daughter, Kelly (Steve) Wilson, Minonk; and six grandchildren, Dereck Marshall, Zackary Marshall, Jamison Marshall, Kurtis Wilson, Chelsea Wilson and Alex Wilson.
She is also survived by two brothers, Charles (Sharon) Amell, South Dakota, and Barry Amell, Streator; and two sisters, Marge Rodrick, Streator, and Judy (Paul) DeFrees, Streator; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Louis, Neil, Bruce, Edward and Donald Amell; and one sister in infancy.
She was active in her husband's business, Marshall Dry Wall, and was a secretary for St. Patrick's Church in Minonk and St Joseph's Church in Flanagan. She also worked for Cunningham's Candies, Minonk.
She was an active bowler in the local area.
She attended local grade schools and graduated from Streator Township High School in 1961.
