Solana was the daughter of Luther Strong Baker and his wife Amanda Melvina Wells. She married Peter Bingleman Riffe. They had four children, Walter, Dudley, Raymond and Nina. She was born Solana Maud Baker and called Maud by all who knew her. They moved and lived for some time in Colorado. Solana passed in Colorado and is buried in Copan, Washington County, Oklahoma.
