Francis Ward was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a slender, small person. She was identified by her grandchildren as "Little grandma". and her mother Nancy was identified as " Big Grandma" Fannie was visiting her granddaughter, Maud at Viola, Ark, when she became ill with pneumonia and died. It is believed Fannie and her children moved from Ky. to Fulton County, Ark. between 1876 and 1878.

Francis's husband was James Peter Colemam b. March 1,1839
Callaway Co. KY.
d. Aug. 16, 1872. It is thought he died in Clinton, Hickman Co. KY.

James Peter Coleman was the son of Garland Lee Coleman and Sarah Rigsdale Hight from Calloway Co. KY.
