Eva M. Stover, 88, of Hershey, died Saturday, June 7, 2008 in the Masonic Village in Elizabethtown.
She was born January 4, 1920 in Hershey, daughter of the late Roy and Effie (Shatto) Sternberger.
Eva retired from the former Hershey Foods where she worked in the Kiss department. She was also a member of Union Deposit United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a grandson, D. Scott Swartz of Palmyra; granddaughter, Lori J. Young and her husband, Glenn of Hershey; great-granddaughter, Allyson M. Eisenhour and her husband, Jason of Palmyra; great-grandson, Joshua T. Young of Hershey; sister, Geraldine Speicher of Hershey; and son-in-law, David F. Swartz of Hershey. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Stover; her daughter, Joanne M. Swartz; two sisters, Phyllis Kupstas and Clara "Betty" Wagner.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 12, 2008, at 11 a.m., in the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., Route 422 & Lucy Avenue, in Hershey. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Stoverdale Cemetery.
