"DEATH CLAIMS WM. YOUNG, 72 - William Young, 72, of Perrysville, died Sunday night at St. Elizabeth's hospital in Danville, Ill., according to word received by relatives. He was born and reared in the South Bethany neighborhood, leaving there to make his home in Perrysville 30 years ago.
He had been ill for a week and death followed a stroke of paralysis.
Survivors include two sons and three daughters. His wife died two years ago. Mrs. Isaac Evans of East Columbus and Mrs. James Vanest of Newbern are sister-in-laws.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Perrysville and burial will be made at West Lebanon." - Columbus Evening Republican,16 Nov 1943
