Bertha Lee Burleson, 66, Kennewick, formerly of Wenatchee, died Friday, Dec. 13, 1996, at the Deaconess Hospital in Spokane.

She was born on July 2, 1930, in Ranger, Texas, the daughter of Connie Griffith and Bessie Mae (Bull) Bellah.

She married Allen J. Burleson in Kelso on Aug. 14, 1948. They moved to Wenatchee in 1953. After her husband's death in 1991, Mrs. Burleson moved to Kennewick, where she had since resided. She was a member of the New Life Center Church of God, East Wenatchee, and enjoyed motorcycles and was a member with her husband of the Gold Wing Club. She also enjoyed gardening, photography and playing the organ.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy E. Krupke of Richland, Deborah A. Hough of Twisp and Carol R. Robins of Wenatchee; her son, Bruce S. Burleson of Stillwater, Okla.; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Evelyn Nelson of Odessa, Texas, and Minnie Mae Harris of East Wenatchee; and her brothers, Connie Gene Bellah of Fort Worth, Texas, and Kenneth Bellah of Muskogee, Okla. She also was preceded in death by her parents, Connie Griffith Bellah and Bessie Mae Miller, an infant son, Richard Allen Burleson, and a sister, Nellie Ruth Hauer.
