MERCED, May 16 – The body of James E. Hibbard, 47, former Merced Barber who died last week in St. Paul, Minn., following a short illness, arrived at the Ivers and Alcorn Funeral Parlors in Merced Tuesday evening. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Latter Day Saints Church here, with burial to follow in the family plot in the Masonic Cemetery.
Hibbard left Merced twelve years ago to make his home in St. Paul. He leaves two sons and two daughters, five sisters and three brothers. The sons are Gerald Hibbard of Merced, Wendel Hibbard of Oakland; the daughters, Miss Nina Hibbard and Miss Grayce Hibbard, are of Briggs, Idaho.
